Greyville Polytrack – 11 June 2025: Runners to Watch

RACE GUIDE
Greyville 11.06.25

The Polytrack at Greyville hosts another competitive midweek meeting on 11 June 2025, and we’ve picked out a few runners worth keeping a close eye on. With conditions expected to favour front-runners and those drawn well, these selections could provide value and excitement for punters and fans alike.

Race 1 – #5 Raceway

Comeback expected after a puzzling last run

Raceway was well fancied last time out, going off at 18/10, but faded badly – a performance that left connections puzzled. The jockey reported something amiss, which might explain the below-par effort. What’s encouraging is Raceway’s penultimate run, where she was beaten only a head by Versace Onthetrack, a solid performer in this class. If bouncing back to that level, Raceway should be right in the mix. Keep onside.

Race 2 – #2 Time Will Tell

Drawn to dominate with top jockey aboard

Speedy and consistent, Time Will Tell brings fair Highveld form to the table, having finished just half a length behind the winner in her latest effort. Drawn 2 on the Polytrack is a notable advantage for a pacey type like her, and with Gavin Lerena taking the reins, expect a bold front-running effort. Everything points to a strong winning chance this time around.

Race 3 – #9 Catch A Penny

Model of consistency, knocking hard for a win

This one is overdue. Catch A Penny has placed in all eight of her career starts – an admirable record – and brings some smart form lines with her. She finished under a length behind both Hoerikwaggo and Princess Arverni, two above-average sorts. While drawn slightly wide here, she’s proven she can handle adversity. With a touch of luck in running, she can finally break her maiden. A top chance.

Race 5 – #4 Azaleas For All

Freshened up and ready to strike

Azaleas For All caught the eye with a powerful win on her penultimate start. She returned to racing a bit too soon and had to settle for third behind Accept Cookies a week later. With a short break now under her belt and retaining good form, she’s expected to be right there again. A must-include in all bets and a live winning chance if back to her best.

Final Word:
With a mix of bounce-back contenders and ultra-consistent types, these races could produce strong betting value. Keep an eye on how the Polytrack is playing early in the day—early speed and draw position could be key. Good luck!
